Boring Ass White Boys

 BAWB Is an exercise in exorcism.

Exorcising the feelings that inherently make me more attracted to white people than to POC like me.

Exorcising the ideals that make white beauty supreme.

Exorcising the racism within the gay community that says that white men are inherently more valuable than men of color.

Reblogging pictures of men generally purported by the gay community to have the highest qualities of attractiveness to this blog is meant to point out the inherent averageness of white beauty standards, and how the things people specifically find attractive about these men are things you won't see reflected in images of men of color.

Moreover, it is intended to point out the inherent bias towards white beauty, and how men of color are frequently expected to be extraordinary in order to be considered "Average" by the standards of white beauty.

All of this isn't really for you, but rather for me. It's a place for me to examine my own feelings and prejudices, and make steps to unlearn them. Follow if you will.
